I decided at 15 で「15の時に決心した」となります。
何を決心したかは、that 以降のことです。

that I didn’t want to be one of those artists で「ありふれたアーティストになりたくないということ」です。
one of those ～ は決まり文句で「よくいる～、ありふれた～」という意味になります。
例：one of those guys「その手の人、よくいるやつ」、one of those things「よくあること」

どんなアーティストかというと、
artists that gets up and sings love songs they don’t mean で「着飾って本気ではないラブソングを歌うアーティスト」です。
get up は「立ちあがる、起床する」いろいろな意味がありますが、今回は「着飾る、盛装する」という意味です。
sings love songs they don’t mean で「本気で歌いたいと思っていないラブソングを歌う」です。
mean は「～を意味する」という意味で習いましたが、この場合は「（はったりや冗談ではなく）本気で～と言っている」という意味です。
例：I mean it.「本気だよ。」
don’t mean なので「本気ではない、口先だけの」という意味になります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
