Japanese people face a lot of criticism for the use of Honne and Tatemae. Some people view it as being two-faced or hypocritical but in Japan it is something that is used daily and is not viewed in a negative way.
で「日本の人々は本音と建前を使うことに対して多くの批判を受けます。人によってはそれを裏表がある・偽善的だと見られることもありますが、日本ではそれは日常的に使われるものであり、決して悪いものとは考えられていません。」という意味になります。

face a lot of criticism for ～ で「～に対する多くの批判にさらされる」です。
face は「顔」という意味から、動詞では「直面する、さらされる、困難にぶつかる」という意味になります。
例：face a grave risk「重大な危険にさらされる」

何に対する批判かというと、
criticism for the use of Honne and Tatemae で「本音と建て前を使うことに対する批判」です。
criticism for ～ で「～に対する批判」という意味になります。

Some people view it as ～ で「ある人はそれを～として見なす」です。
some people は「中には～な人もいる」と訳すとしっくりきますね。

being two-faced or hypocritical で「裏表がある、または偽善的な」です。
two-faced は「裏表のある」という意味の形容詞です。
例：two-faced clock「両面時計」、two-faced person「裏表のある人、二枚舌を使う人」
hipocritical ヒポクリティカォは「偽善的な」です。
名詞形は hipocrisy ヒポクリシー「偽善」です。
「偽善者」は hypocrite ヒポクリットです。
