If you are given a chance to be a role model, I think you should always take it because you can influence a person’s life in a positive light, and that’s what I want to do. That’s what it’s all about.
で「人の模範になるチャンスが与えられたのなら、僕はその役を常に受け入れるべきだと思う。人の人生に良い面で影響を与えられるのだし。そしてそれが僕がやりたいことだ。まあ結局はそういうことです。」という意味になります。

If you are given a chance to be a role model, で「模範となる人物になるチャンスを与えられたら」です。
role model は「模範、規範となる人」という意味です。

I think you should always take it で「私は思う、それを常に受け入れるべきだと」です。
take it は「（その役を）受け入れる、引き受ける」という意味です。
例：If it’s a chance, you should take it.「もしそれがチャンスなら、つかみ取るべきだ。」

because you can influence a person’s life in a positive light で「なぜなら、人の人生に良い面で影響を与えられるのだから」です。
influence は「～に影響を与える、影響を及ぼす」という意味の動詞です。
例：influence a market「市況に影響を与える」
a person’s life は「人の人生、人の命」という意味の言い回しです。
in a positive light は「いい面で、肯定的な観点で」という意味です。
light は「光」という意味でおなじみですが、今回のように「ものの見方、観点」という意味もあります。
例：seen in another light「別の観点から見れば」

that’s what I want to do. で「私がやりたいのはそういうことなんです」です。
that’s what ～ は「～はそういうことです、～とはそういうものさ」という意味の言い回しです。
悟りきったような、諦めたようなニュアンスになります。

That’s what it’s all about. 「それがすべてさ、結局はそういうことだ」という意味の決まり文句です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
