本日の例文

で「ライト兄弟のチームは、誰一人として大学教育を受けていませんでした。オーヴィルとウィルバーでさえもです。そしてニューヨークタイムズは彼らを全く追いかけまわしませんでした。」という意味になります。

主語は、
Not a single person on the Wright brothers’ team までで「ライト兄弟のチームでは誰一人として（～でない）」となります。
not a single person で「誰一人として（～でない）、一人も～しない」です。
on the Wright brothers’ team で「ライト兄弟のチーム所属の」です。
team には前置詞 in も使いますが、今回のように on も使われます。
例：half of the people on the team「チームに所属するメンバーの半数」

had a college education で「大学教育を持っていた、大卒だった」です。
Not a single person が主語なので「大卒は一人もいなかった」となります。
college は「大学」です。

not even Orville or Wilbur. で「オーヴィルとウィルバーでさえも（そうではなかった）」です。
ライト兄弟自身も大卒ではなかったと言うことです。

And The New York Times followed them around nowhere. で「そしてニューヨークタイムズは彼らをどこにも追いかけ回さなかった」です。
follow them around で「彼らを追いかけます」です。
メディアは全く注目していなかったと言うことですね。
