Orville and Wilbur were driven by a cause, by a purpose, by a belief.
例:drive people to war「人々を戦争へと駆り立てる」
例:cause of freedom「自由という大義」、die for a cause「大義に殉じる」
if they could figure out this flying machine,
it’ll change the course of the world.
change the course of the world
例:change the course of the war「戦局を変える」、change the course of events「事態の成り行きを変える」

The difference was,
Orville and Wilbur were
driven by a cause,
by a purpose, by a belief.
