ザ・フーのフロントマン、ロジャー・ダルトリー氏の言葉です。

I don’t think there’s any way it could have failed. We don’t know failure in this band. We didn’t know failure. We got to know it a little after a while but at that time there was no such word.

で「それが失敗するなんてありえなかったよ。僕たちはこのバンドで失敗という言葉を知らない。いや、知らなかった。ほんのちょっと後で知るようになったけど、その当時はそんな言葉は存在しなかったよ。」という意味になります。

例文はインタビュアーから以下のように聞かれて、答えた部分です。
If Tommy had been a failure, would the Who have broken up?
「もしTommyがヒットしなかったら、Whoは解散していたでしょうか？”」
※Tommy は the Who の代表的なアルバム名です。

I don’t think there’s any way it could have failed. で「それが失敗するなんてことはありえなかったと思う」です。
I don’t think there’s any way (that) ～ までが言い出しの決まり文句で「～する可能性なんてない、どんなことがあろうと～はない」という意味になります。
there’s no way ～「～なんて無理、～なんてありえない」です。
it could have failed で「それは失敗していたかもしれない」です。
it とは Tommy（アルバム）のことです。
could have ～ で「～していたかも」という意味です。

We don’t know failure in this band. We didn’t know failure で「僕たちはこのバンドで失敗を知らない。（いや）知らなかった。」です。
don’t know failure で「失敗を知らない」です。失敗を経験したことが一度もないということです。
failure は「失敗、失敗作、落第者」という意味があります。
この場合は「ヒットしなかった作品」という意味です。

We got to know it a little after a while で「ほんのちょっと後で失敗を知るようになった」です。
get to konw で「～を知るようになる、～と知り合う」です。
a little after a while　で「ほんのちょっとあとで」です。
after a while「しばらくしてから」に a little が付いた形ですね。

but at that time there was no such word. で「でも、その当時は、そんな言葉はなかった」です。
such word は failure「失敗」のことです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

I don’t think there’s any way
～なんてありえないと思う

it could have failed.
それが失敗していたかなんて

We don’t know failure
僕たちは失敗を知らない

in this band.
このバンドで

We didn’t know failure.
（いや）失敗を知らなかった

We got to know it
失敗を知るようになった

でもその当時は

there was no such word.
そんな言葉はなかった
