show up は「姿を現す、現れる、来る」です。
例：show up at a party「パーティーに現れる、やってくる」
on the mall in Washington は「ワシントンのナショナルモール」のことです。
mall は「ショッピングモール、遊歩道」という意味がありますが、この場合は the mall でワシントンD.C.の中心部に位置する国立公園「ナショナル・モール」を指します。

to hear Dr. King speak で「キング師が話すのを聞くために」です。
hear ～ speak で「～が話すのを聞く」となります。
知覚動詞 hear ＋ 目的語 ＋動詞の原形の用法です。
Dr. ドクターとなっているのは、キング牧師はボストン大学神学部で博士号を取得しているからです。

They sent out no invitations, and there was no website to check the date. で「彼らは招待状を送ったわけでもなく、日付を調べるウェブサイトもありませんでした。」です。
invitation 「招待状、招待」です。
send out は「～を発送する」という意味の句動詞です。

How do you do that? で「あなたならどうやる？、一体どうやったのでしょう？」という意味の言い回しです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
