で「その一方で、外向型の人は、全く無意識的にですが、やっていることにワクワクしすぎてそれを自分の手柄にしてしまう。そしてその結果、自分以外の人のアイデアが簡単には水面上に出てくるのを妨げてしまう。」という意味になります。

Whereas ～ は「その一方で～だ」です。

an extrovert can, quite unwittingly, get so excited about things that they’re putting their own stamp on things, で「外向型の人は、まったく意識せずに、物事にとても興奮しすぎて、彼らはその物事に自分の検印を押す」です。
an extrovert can ～ で「外向型の人は～する可能性がある、～しうる」という意味です。
この場合の can は【可能性】の意味です。
quite unwittingly で「全く意識せずに」という意味になります。
unwitting アン[ウィ]ティング で「意図的でない」という意味になります。
例：unwitting mistake「うっかりミス」

get so excited about things that ～ は so ～ that … の構文で「～すぎて…だ、あまりに～で…となる」となります。
「あまりに物事に興奮しすぎて～だ」となります。
この things とは文脈から「リーダーとして自分が進めているプロジェクトや仕事」などのことですね。
so excited ワクワクしすぎてしまい、
they’re putting their own stamp on things で「彼らは自分の検印をその物事に押す」ですが、意訳すると「物事を自分の思うままにする、物事を仕切る」という意味です。
stamp は「検印」ですので、their own stamp 「自分自身の検印」を押す行為は「物事を取り仕切る」という意味になります。

and other people’s ideas might not as easily then bubble up to the surface. で「そして、その結果、他の人のアイデアは簡単には水面上に浮かび上がってこないかもしれない」です。
not as easily で「（同じように）簡単には～しない」です。
then は直前の文を受けて「その結果、ひいては」という意味です。
bubble up to the surface で「（泡のように）水面に浮かび上がる」という意味です。
「日の目を見る」と訳してもいいですね。

リーダーの力が強すぎて、他のスタッフの考えは押さえつけられてしまうということですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

全く意図的ではないのですが

get so excited about things
物事に夢中になりすぎてしまい

物事を自分の意のままに仕切っていく
