Today, I couldn’t open my car door from the inside. I rang my father-in-law in a panic and he opened it from the outside for me. Then he asked why I just didn’t roll down the window and do it myself. FML
で「今日、車の内側からドアが開けられなくなった。私はパニックになって義理の父に電話をして、外からドアを開けてもらった。その後、彼は私に尋ねた。なぜ自分で窓を開けてドアを開けなかったのかと。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I couldn’t open my car door from the inside. で「私は車のドアを開けられなかった、内側から」です。
from the inside で「その内側から」という意味の言い回しです。
逆は from the outside です。

I rang my father-in-law in a panic で「私は義父に電話した、慌てふためいて」です。
ring は「ベルを鳴らす」ですが、この場合は「電話する」という意味の動詞です。
電話をかけるは他にも call ～ が使えます。
my father-in-law は「義理の父」です。
後ろに -in-low をつけて「義理の」という意味ができます。
例：my brother-in-law「義理の兄弟」
in-law の law ロウは「法律」ですので、「法的に、法律上は」という意味合いです。

and he opened it from the outside for me. で「そして彼はドアを開けてくれた、外側から」です。

Then he asked why ～ で「その後で彼はなぜ～なのかと尋ねた」です。

why I just didn’t roll down the window and do it myself. で「なぜ私が～しなかったのか、窓を開けて自分でそれを（しなかったのか）」です。
roll down the window は「（ハンドルをぐるぐる回して）車の窓を下げる」です。
今の車には珍しいですが、昔の車はハンドルをぐるぐる回してドアを開け閉め（上げ下げ）していました。
do it myself は「自分でやる」です。
do it はこの場合は open the door を指しています。
