「その同じ宗教、賢者たちを送り出す、さみしい山の頂に」です。
religion は「宗教、信仰」です。
ここでは who で受けていますので「信仰する人の集団」という意味合いです。
send ～ off で「～を送り出す」です。
send their sages off to ～ で「自分たちの賢者を～に送り出す」です。
to lonely mountain tops で「さみしい山の頂に」です。

also teach us love and trust で「（その同じ宗教が）同時に私たちに愛と信頼を教えているのだ」です。

And 「そして」

the problems that we are facing today in fields like science and in economics までが主語になります。
「いくつかの課題、私たちが今日直面している、～などの分野で、科学や経済（などの）」です。
field は「野原」という意味もありますがこの場合は「分野」という意味です。
in fields like ～ で「～などの分野で」となります。

are so vast and so complex (that) で「あまりにも広大で、あまりにも複雑（なので～だ）」です。
so ～ that …「とても～なので…だ」の構文です。
vast [ヴァ]ストゥは「広大な、範囲が広い、（数や規模が）膨大な」という意味の形容詞です。
例：vast range「広範囲」、vast vocabulary「膨大な語彙数」

あまりにも広大で複雑なので、
(that) we are going to need ～ で「私たちは～が必要になるだろう」と繋がります。
何が必要になるかというと、
armies of people coming together で「大勢の人が協力すること」です。
army アーミーは「軍隊」という意味でおなじみですが、この場合は単に「大勢、大群」という意味です。
armies of ～ で「大勢の～」という意味の言い回しになります。
例：armies of refugees「大勢の難民たち」
come together は「協力する、一緒になる」です。
to solve them working together で「それらを解決するために、連携して」です。
solve them の them は私たちが直面している the problems を指しています。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
