And so, the question becomes, how? And so, it seems to me, upon a lot of reflection, that the way that I have to work now, in order to continue writing, is that I have to create some sort of protective psychological construct, right?

And so, the question becomes, how? And so, it seems to me, upon a lot of reflection, that the way that I have to work now, in order to continue writing, is that I have to create some sort of protective psychological construct, right?
で「そうなると、問題は『どうやって？』という事になります。私には思えます。よく考えてみると、今私が取り組むべき、作家業を続けていくための方法とは、何らかの心理的防護体制を私が構築しなければいけないという事なのではと。」という意味になります。

And so, the question becomes, how? で「それなら、問題は、どうやって？という事になります。」です。
前回の続きで、「むしろ私は大好きな仕事を続けていきたい。」を受けています。
ではどうやれば続けていけるでしょう。

it seems to me, upon a lot of reflection, that ～ で「私には～だと思えます、よく考えてみると」です。
it seems to me that ～ で「私には～だと思える」という意味の言い回しです。
seem は「～に見える、～に思える」という意味の動詞ですね。
upon a lot of reflection は「よく考えてみると、よくよく熟考したうえで」という意味の言い回しです。
upon reflection「熟考の上」に a lot of がついて強調されています。
reflection は「熟考、内省」です。
reflect on ～で「～について熟考する、～をじっくり検討する」です。
reflect には他にも「反射する、映し出す」という意味があります。
イメージ的には自分の心の中の水晶玉にイメージを映し出してじっくり考えているという感じです。

どのように思えるのかというと、
(that) the way that I have to work now is ～ で「今私が取り組まねばならない方法は～だ」です。
the way (that) ～ で「～な方法、～なやり方」です。
(that) I have to work now で「私が今取り組まなければならない（方法）」となります。

in order to continue writing, で「書くことを続けていくために」です。
in order to ～ で「～するために」です。

関係代名詞の that や that 節がどんどん出てきますが、しっかりと見ていきましょう。

is that ～ で「（その方法）とは～ということだ」です。

どういうことかというと、
I have to create some sort of protective psychological construct で「私は創り出さなければならない、ある種の防護的な心理的構造体を」です。
some sort of ～ で「ある種の、ある意味で」という意味のぼかし表現です。
protective psychological construct は「保護的な心理的構造体」です。
「心理的に保護するための構築物」です。
construct [カ]ンストゥラクトゥは「建築物」という意味から「構造物、建造物、構造体、構成、概念」という意味の名詞です。
例：data construct「データ構造」、philosophical construct「哲学的概念」
psychological construct で「心構え」とも言えますね。
自分の心を守るための心構えという意味合いです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

And so, the question becomes, how?
そうすると、問題は『どうやって？』といういことになります

And so, it seems to me,
そうすると、私には～だと思えます

upon a lot of reflection,
よくよく考えてみると

that
～だと

the way that I have to work now,
今取り組まねばならない方法とは
