Today, my in-laws invited us over to dinner. I decided to help out in the kitchen and watched in horror as my mother-in-law licked every utensil, sucked her fingers while making the plates and slurped wine straight from the bottle. My husband said I was rude for refusing to eat. FML

Today, my in-laws invited us over to dinner. I decided to help out in the kitchen and watched in horror as my mother-in-law licked every utensil, sucked her fingers while making the plates and slurped wine straight from the bottle. My husband said I was rude for refusing to eat. FML
で「今日、義両親が私たちを夕食に招いてくれた。手伝おうと思って台所に行ったら、義母があらゆる料理器具を舐めて、料理中ずっと指をしゃぶって、ワインをボトルから直接じゅるじゅると音を立てて飲んでいるのを目撃して恐怖してしまった。夫は、私が食べたくないというのは失礼だと言った。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

my in-laws invited us over to dinner. で「義両親が私たちを夕食に招いた」となります。
in-lows で「義理の両親」です。
mother-in-law（MIL）で「義母」
father-in-law（FIL）で「義父」となります。
law は「法律」なので「法律上の父母」という意味合いですね。
invite ～ over で「～を家に招く」という意味になります。
over は「（そっちから）こっちに」という意味合いがあります。
例：call a waiter over to our table「ウェイターに来るように言う」
例：come over「こちらにやって来る」

I decided to help out in the kitchen and ～ で「私は～することにした、台所で手伝いを、すると～」です。
decide は「決心する」という意味でおなじみですが、
decided to ～ で「～することにした、～しようと思い立った」という意味の言い回しになります。

watched in horror as ～ で「恐怖で～するのをじっと視た」です。
in horror で「恐怖のあまり～」という意味です。
例：exclaim in horror「恐怖のあまり叫び声をあげる」、stare in horror「恐怖に目を見張る」
watch as ～ で「～するのを見つめる」という意味の言い回しです。
例：She watched as he drove off「彼女は彼が車で走り去るのを眺めていた。」

my mother-in-law licked every utensil, で「義母があらゆる料理器具を舐めてるのを」です。
lick ～ で「～を舐める」です。
utensil は「料理器具」ですが、主におたま、フライ返し、泡だて器、ピーラーなどを指します。

sucked her fingers while making the plates で「指を舐めるのを、料理を作っている間じゅう」です。
make the plates は「料理を作る」です。
plate は dish と同じく「お皿」から「料理」という意味でも使われます。

and slurped wine straight from the bottle で「そしてワインを音を立てて飲むのを、ボトルから直接」です。
slurp スラープは「ズルズルと音を立てて飲む（食べる）」という意味の動詞です。
ラーメンを食べる時の表現でよく使われます。
例：slurp on soup「スープを音を立てて飲む」、slurp up ra-men「ラーメンをズルズル食べる」

My husband said I was rude for refusing to eat. で「私の夫は言った、私が食べたくないというのは失礼だと」です。
rude for ～ing で「～するのは失礼だ、無作法だ」です。
