And she said it was like a thunderous train of air. And it would come barreling down at her over the landscape. And she felt it coming, because it would shake the earth under her feet. She knew that she had only one thing to do at that point, and that was to, in her words, “run like hell.”

And she said ～ で「そして彼女は～といった」です。
she とはアメリカの詩人 Ruth Stone の事です。

(that) it was like a thunderous train of air. で「それは～のようだった、とどろく一連の空気」です。
a train of air で「一続きの空気」です。
train はここでは電車ではなく「ひとつづきのもの、連なり」という意味になります。
例：a train of events「一連の出来事」
thunderous [サ]ンダラスは thunder「雷」の形容詞形で「雷のようにとどろく」です。

And it would ～ で「そしてそれは～したものだった」です。
この would は過去の短期的な習慣を意味します。
come barreling down at her over the landscape. で「彼女に向って突進してくる、風景を超えて」です。
come ～ing で「～しながらやってくる」という意味の言い回しです。
例：come flooding in ～「殺到する、どっと押し寄せる」、come flying at ～「～めがけて飛んでくる」
barrel down は「突進する、猛スピードで突っ走る」という意味の慣用句です。
例：barrel down the expressway「高速道路を猛スピードで突っ走る」
over the landscape で「広がる風景の向こうから」です。
over ～ は「～の上を超えて」という意味合いです。
the landscape とはルース・ストーンが子供時代に育ったバージニアの田舎の田園風景です。

And she felt it coming「そして彼女はそれが来ていると感じた」

fell ～ … で「～が…するのを感じる」で知覚動詞の用法です。
例：see him play「彼がプレイするのを見る」
ふつうは…には動詞の原形が来ますが、今回のように coming と進行形が来ることもあります。
その場合は「今～しているのを感じる」という意味になります。
And she felt it coming「そして彼女はそれが来ていると感じた」う意味になります。

She knew that ～ で「彼女は～だと知っていた」
(that) she had only one thing to do at that point で「彼女はやることは一つしかない、その当時」です。
have only one thing to do で「やることは一つしかない」です。
at that point で「その当時、その時」です。

and that was to, in her words, “run like hell.” で「そしてそれは～すること、彼女の言葉で言うと、死に物狂いで走ること」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
