エリザベス・ギルバート氏によるTEDスピーチ「創造性をはぐくむには」です。

She would catch the poem by its tail, and she would pull it backwards into her body as she was transcribing on the page. And in these instances, the poem would come up on the page perfect and intact but backwards, from the last word to the first.

で「彼女はその詩の尻尾をつかみました。そしてそれを自分の体に逆から取り込みました、ページに書き写しながら。このような場合、その詩はページ上に完璧に欠けることなく、しかし逆さまに表れました。最後の語から最初の語へと。」という意味になります。

She would catch the poem by its tail, で「彼女はその詩のしっぽを捕まえた」です。
catch ～ by … で「～の…の部分を捕まえる」という意味になります。
例：grab someone by the arm「人の腕をつかむ」

and she would pull it backwards into her body で「そして彼女はそれを逆さに彼女の体に引っ張り込んだ」です。
pull ～ into … で「…に～を引き込む」です。
backwards で「さかさまに、後ろから」です。

as she was transcribing on the page. で「彼女がそれをページに書き写すと同時に」です。
as ～ で「～しながら、同時に～して」です。
transcribe は「書き写す、文字に起こす」です。

And in these instances, で「そしてこのような場合は」です。
instance は「場合、例」という意味です。
例：in every instance「いかなる場合も」、in this instance「この例では、こういう場合は」

the poem would come up on the page perfect and intact but backwards, で「詩はページ上に、完璧に一字一句欠けることなく現れましたが、すべて逆さまだった」です。
come up で「（画面上などに）現れる」という意味です。
come up on the page なので「ページ上に（書き写されて）現れる」となります。
perfect and intact but backwards で「完璧に、欠けることなく、しかし逆さまに」です。
perfect や intact が形容詞なのは、come up + 形容詞 という形を踏襲したものになります。
例：come up big「成功する、活躍する」、come up short「残念な結果となる」、come up dry「成果がない、実を結ばない」

from the last word to the first. で「最後の語から最初の語へ」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
