で「シナジーとは、1＋1が10になったり100になったりさらには1000になる時に起きるものだ。それは、２人以上の謙虚な人間が自分たちの先入観を超えて大きな課題に対処すると決心した時の絶大な結果である。」という意味になります。

Synergy is what happens when ～ で「シナジー（相乗効果）は～の時に起きるものだ」です。
what happens で「起きるもの、発生するもの」となります。
synergy [スィ]ナジーで「シナジー、相乗効果」です。
人・部分・組織などが共同することにより、それぞれの力の和を上回る効果が得られること、となります。

どんな時に起こるものなのかというと、
when one plus one equals ten or a hundred or even a thousand で「1＋1が10になったり100になったりさらには1000になる時」です。
one plus one equals ten で「1+1=10」となります。

It’s the profound result when ～ で「それは絶大な結果だ、～の時の」です。
profound は「深い、深遠な、重大な、重要な」と言った意味合いの形容詞です。
例：profound answer「深遠な答え」、profound change「（奥底からの）重大な変化」、profound effect「計り知れない影響」

どんな時の絶大な結果なのかというと、
when two or more respectful human beings determine to ～ で「２人以上の謙虚な人間が～しようと決心する時の」です。
two or more respectful human beings で「２人以上の謙虚な人間」となります。
respectful は「敬意を払う」という意味の形容詞になります。
「尊敬できる（respectable）人間」という意味ではないので注意しましょう。
determine ディ[タ]ーミンは「（断固として）決心する、決める」です。
語源は、de-（はっきり）＋ terminare（限界、境界を定める）」です。
例：determination「裁判の判決、決断、決断力」

　
(determine to) go beyond their preconceived ideas to meet a great challenge. で「彼らの先入観を乗り越えて、大きな課題に対処する（ことを決断する）」となります。
go beyond ～ で「～を超えていく」という意味の言い回しです。
preconceived ideas で「先に抱いていた考え、先入観」となります。
pre-（先に）＋ conceive（心に描く、思いつく）で「先に考えていた」となります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
