Every two years, our patient and dedicated research staff calls up our men and asks them if we can send them yet one more set of questions about their lives. Many of the inner city Boston men ask us, “Why do you keep wanting to study me? My life just isn’t that interesting.”

で「２年ごとに、忍耐強く献身的な我々の研究スタッフたちが、被験者の男性たちに電話をかけ、彼らの人生についてまたアンケートを送ってもいいかと尋ねています。ボストン旧市街地（貧困街）出身の男性たちの多くはこう言います。『どうして俺なんかを研究したがるんだい？俺の人生なんかそれほど興味深いもんでもないだろう。』と。」という意味になります。

Every two years,「２年おきに」です。
biennially バイ[エ]ニァリィとも言えます。

our patient and dedicated research staff が主語です。
「我々の我慢強く献身的な研究員たち」です。
patient は名詞では「患者」という意味もありますが、ここでは形容詞で「我慢強い」という意味です。
research staff で「研究員たち」です。
staff は集合名詞なので a がついたり -s がつくことはありませんので注意しましょう。
例：Foreign staff are employed.「外国人スタッフが働いている。」

calls up our men で「私たちの男たちに電話をかける」です。
our men は親愛を込め、よく自軍の兵士などに対して使われる表現ですが、
ここでは「被験者たち」を指しています。

and asks them if ～ で「そして、彼らに～かどうかを聞く」です。
ask if ～ で「～かどうかを尋ねる」という意味の言い回しです。

電話して何を聞くのかというと、
(if) we can send them yet one more set of questions about their lives で「私たちが彼らにまた一通アンケートを送ってもいい（かと）」です。
yet one more ～ で「さらにもう一個の～」という意味の言い回しです。
この yet は比較級を強める副詞で「さらに、その上」という意味になります。
例：I have yet more to learn.「私にはさらに学ぶべきことがある。」
set of questions about their lives で「彼らの人生についての質問のセット」です。

Many of the inner city Boston men ask us, で「多くのボストンのインナーシティー出身男性たちは、私たちに～と尋ねます」です。
inner city は「旧市街地、都市の中心に近い地域」という意味から「スラム街」という意味にもなります。

Why do you keep wanting to study me? で「なぜ、あなたたちは私を研究したいと思い続けるのか？」です。
keep ～ing で「～し続ける」です。
My life just isn’t that interesting.「私の人生は、そんなに興味深くはない」です。
貧困地区出身の男性たちは自分を卑下してこのように聞いてくるということですね。
not that ～ で「それほど～ではない」という意味のコロケーションですね。
この場合の that は副詞で「それほど、そんなに」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

被験者の皆さんに電話をかけ
