で「今日、母は玄関と勝手口のドアを開けたままにしておくと主張する。うちの猫が家に帰ってくる場合に備えて。家の中が寒くなるなろうが関係なしに。そう、うちの猫はそれほど重要なのだ。彼のために猫用扉もあるのに。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

my mom insists on ～ing で「母は、～することを強く主張している」です。
insist は「主張する、こだわる、しつこく要求する」という意味の動詞です。
名詞形は insistence で「断固とした主張、断言、こだわり、しつこい要求」です。

leaving both the front and kitchen door open で「玄関と、キッチンのドアを両方開けておくこと」です。
leave ～ open の形が読み取れたでしょうか。
leave ～ … の形で「～を…の状態のままにしておく」という意味になります。
…には形容詞がきます。今回の open も動詞ではなく形容詞の用法で使われています。
例：leave the toilet seat up「便座カバーをあげたままにしておく」
both the front and kitchen door で「玄関と勝手口両方を」です。
front door で「玄関のドア」、 kitchen door で「キッチンのドア、勝手口」となります。

in case the cat comes home, で「うちの猫が帰宅するときに備えて」です。
in case ～ は群接続詞で「～の場合に備えて」という意味になります。
the cat で「うちの猫」となります。

no matter if ～ で「かどうかは関係なく」という意味の言い回しです。
(if) it gets cold inside. で「家の中が寒くなる（かどうか）」です。
この場合の主語 it は気温や天候などを表す it ですね。

Yes, the cat is that important. で「そう、うちの猫はそれほど重要なのだ」です。

Yes, he also has a cat flap. で「そう、彼はさらにキャットフラップも持っている」です。
he は the cat「うちの猫」をさしています。オスだということがわかります。
cat flap はよく扉の下の方についている、パタパタと開閉する小さな猫用の扉のことです。
