I mean, you know, there are just certain things you can’t make electrons do, there are certain things you can’t make plastic do or glass do. And, as you get into – or factories do, or robots do.

I mean, you know, there are just certain things you can’t make electrons do, there are certain things you can’t make plastic do or glass do. And, as you get into – or factories do, or robots do.
で「つまり、例えば、電子にはできないことがあるのです。プラスチックやガラスではできないことあります。そのアイデアに深く入り込んでいく中で…それに工場やロボットだってそうです。」という意味になります。

I mean, you know, ～ で「つまり、その～」という意味合いです。

there are just certain things (that) ～ で「まさに～なものがあるのです」という意味です。
certain things で「ある特定のもの」ということです。
どんなものかというと、
(that) you can’t make electrons do, で「あなたが電子にさせられないこと」です。
make ～ 動詞の原形 で「～に…させる」という意味でしたね。
つまり、電子ではできないことがある、ということです。

there are certain things you can’t make plastic do or glass do. は「プラスチックやガラスではできないことあります。」です。
前文と同じ構成です。

And, as you get into – で「そして、深く入り込んでいくにつれて・・・」です。
最初のアイデアを煮詰めていって、その詳細（the subtleties of it）が見えてくると、ということです。

or factories do, or robots do. で「あとそれに、工場だって、ロボットだってそうです」となります。
あえて省略を補うと、
(there are certain things you can’t make) factories do. ということです。
And, as you get into – と言ってしまった後に、リストをもっと思いついたので、付け足した形ですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
