で「一等は、それまでの6億2000万ドルという見積もりから増加した。潜在的な見返りに惹きつけられたプレーヤーたちからの売上を反映して。チケットを買う人が増えれば増えるほど、賞金は大きくなる。」という意味になります。

こちらの記事は、アメリカの Powerball（パワーボール）という宝くじに関するニュースです。
日本のロト6みたいな感じですね。

The grand prize was increased from ～ で「そのくじの一等賞金額は～から増えた」です。
the grand prize で「そのくじの大賞」です。
grand は「大きい、主要な、壮大な」という意味で、prize が「賞、賞金」です。
from an earlier estimate of $620 million で「前回までの620,000,000ドルという推定額から」です。
620 million で6億2千万ドルです。
日本円にしたら約690億円です。すごい額ですね。
estimate [エ]スティミトゥで「見積額、推定額」です。

reflecting ～ で「～を反映して」です。
分詞構文となっています。

何を反映してかというと、
a surge in sales from players で「プレーヤーたちからの売上の急増を（反映して）」です。
surge in ～ で「～の急増」です。
【増減】を表す場合は in がよく使われます。
例：increase in ～「～の増加」、decline in ～「～の低下」
sales from players で「プレーヤーたちからの売上高」です。
つまりくじ（tickets）がたくさん売れたから、ということですね。
どんなプレーヤーかというと、
(players) attracted by the potential payoff. で「見込まれる見返りに惹きつけられた（プレーヤーたち）」です。
payoff は「見返り、報い、報復」などという意味です。
良い意味でも悪い意味でも使えて、やったことに対する「報酬、見返り、仕返し」などという意味です。
例：win a big payoff「（賭けなどで）大儲けする」、 pay off old scores「遺恨を晴らす」
記事中ではほかにも payout という言葉が出てきますがこちらは「払戻金、配当金」です。

The more people who buy tickets, the larger the prize grows. で「チケットを買う人が多ければ多いほど、その賞金は大きくなる」です。
the 比較級 ～, the 比較級 …. の文型です。
「～すればするほど、より…になる」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
