Today, our dog is old and deaf, and has figured out she just needs to bark if she needs to be let inside. Unfortunately, she’s also a bit senile, so sometimes she just barks for no reason, while lying still and quite comfortably on her dog bed, staring at nothing. FML

Today, our dog is old and deaf, and has figured out she just needs to bark if she needs to be let inside. Unfortunately, she’s also a bit senile, so sometimes she just barks for no reason, while lying still and quite comfortably on her dog bed, staring at nothing. FML
で「今日、うちの犬は年を取っていて耳が聞こえない、そして中に入れてもらいたい時は、ただ吠えればいいのだと分かっている。また残念ながら彼女はちょっとぼけているので、たまに何の理由もなく吠える。犬用ベッドで居心地よくじっと横になって虚空を見つめながら。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

our dog is old and deaf, で「家の犬は年を取っていて耳が聞こえない」です。
and has figured out (that) ～ で「そして（その犬は）～だと分かっている」です。
figure out は「～を理解する、～を解き明かす、解明する」という意味です。

どういうことを分かっているかというと
she just needs to bark で「自分がただ吠える必要がある（ことを）」です。
she は our dog のことで、雌だということが分かりますね。
動物の代名詞は基本は it ですが、ペットなど名前がある動物は she/he を使います。
if she needs to be let inside. で「もし自分が中に入れてもらう必要があるなら」です。
be let inside で「中に入れてもらう」です。
let は過去・過去分詞形が同じ形なので、分かりづらいですが、be let は受動態になっています。
能動態に直すと let her inside「彼女を中に入れてやる」です。

Unfortunately,「残念なことに」
she’s also a bit senile, で「彼女はまた、ちょっとぼけている」です。
senile [スィ]ーナイォで「もうろくした」という意味の形容詞です。
例：group home for senile people「認知症の高齢者のためのグループホーム」
名詞形は senility スィ[ニ]リティ「老衰、ぼけ」です。

so sometimes she just barks for no reason, で「だから、彼女はたまに何の理由もなく吠える」です。
while ～ing「～しながら」
lying still で「じっと横になって」です。
lying [ラ]イイングは lie ライ「横になる」の現在分詞です。
still はここでは「～以来」ではなく、副詞で「じっとして」という意味になります。
例：stand still「じっと立っている、停滞している」
and quite comfortably で「かなり居心地よく」です。
on her dog bed で「彼女の犬用ベッドの上で」
staring at nothing で「虚空を見つめながら」です。
stare at nothing は「虚空を見つめる」という意味の慣用句です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

うちの犬は年を取って耳が聞こえない

そして～を理解している

she just needs to bark
