最初の文は、前回の続きの部分です。
コンピューターが当初はただの計算のための道具だったのが、ついにはそれがコミュニケーションの道具に変容するという我々の夢。
And with the web, that’s finally happening. で「ウェブを使って、それが最終的に起こることになる。」です。
with the web で「ウェブを使えば」です。
that は上記の「我々の夢」を指しています。

And secondly,「そして第二に」
it’s exciting because ～ で「それはエキサイティングだ、～だから」です。
どういう理由でウェブがエキサイティング（ワクワクさせるもの）なのかというと、
(because) Microsoft doesn’t own it, で「マイクロソフト社がそれを所有していない（から）」です。
it は the web のことです。
パソコンのOSではマイクロソフト（Windows）が独占状態であることを当てこすった発言と取れますね。

and therefore ～「そしてそれゆえに」
there’s a tremendous amount of innovation happening. で「大変な規模のイノベーションが起こりつつある」です。
tremendous トゥリ[メ]ンダスは「驚異的な、とてつもない」という意味の形容詞です。
接頭語の trem- には「震える」という意味があるので「身震いするほど」というイメージでとらえます。

So I think that ～ で「だから私は～だと思う」
the web is going to be profound in ～ で「ウェブは～の中で意義深いものになる」です。
profound は「深い」という意味から「意義深い、重度な、深遠な」という意味になります。
例：profound influence「絶大な影響力」、profound issue「根の深い問題」
何の中で意義深いものになるのかというと、
in what it does to our society. で「それが私たちの社会へ貢献する役割において」です。
what it does とは「ウェブが（役を）果たすこと」です。
do には「（役割など）～を演じる、果たす」という意味があります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

ウェブを使えば

that’s finally happening.
それがついに現実となります

And secondly,
そして第二に

it’s exciting because Microsoft doesn’t own it,
ウェブはマイクロソフトが所有していないので素晴らしいです

and therefore
それゆえに

So I think that
