で「金曜日の朝の国民への演説の中で、ゼレンスキー大統領はプーチンに、人民が死んでいくのを止めるために交渉の席に着くように呼び掛けた。だが、ウクライナの部隊に戦闘を止めるようには言わずに、彼らには『勇敢に戦い続けよ。君たちだけが頼りだ、我々を守るのは君たちだけだ』と伝えた。」という意味になります。

In an address to his people Friday morning, で「彼の国民への演説の中で、金曜の朝の」です。
address は「住所、宛名」という意味以外にも「演説、（正式な）挨拶」といった意味があります。

Zelenskyy called on Putin to ～ で「ゼレンスキーはプーチンに～するように呼び掛けた」です。
call on ～ to do … で「～に…するように求める、要請する」です。
何をするように求めたかというと、
(to) sit at the table for negotiations で「交渉のテーブルに座るように」です。
to stop people dying, で「人々が死んでいくのを止めるために」です。
つまり停戦交渉のことですね。
stop ～ing で「～することを止める」ですが、ここでは動名詞の意味上の主語が挿入されています。
例：I tried to stop him going there.「私は彼にそこに行かせまいとした。」

but「しかし」
did not order Ukrainian troops to stop fighting, で「ウクライナの部隊に戦闘を止めよと命令はしなかった」

その代わりに、
telling them to stand tough で「彼らに頑張り続けよと伝えた」です。
stand tough は「勇敢に立つ」ですが、ここでは stand は「耐える」という意味合いで、
「その場を離れずに頑張り続る」という意味です。
tough はここでは「勇ましく、タフに」という意味になっています。
例：stay tough「頑張り続ける」、stand strong「毅然としたままでいる」

You’re everything (that) we have, で「君たちは私たちが持っている全てだ」
you’re everything that is defending us. で「私たちを守っている全てだ」となります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
