So I don’t think that most of the really best people that I’ve worked with have worked with computers for the sake of working with computers. They’ve worked with computers because they are the medium that is best capable of transmitting some feeling that you have that you want to share with other people. Does that make any sense to you.

で「つまり、私が一緒に仕事をしていた真に優秀な人達のほとんどが、コンピューターをやりたくてコンピューター関連の仕事をしてきたわけではないと思うのです。彼らがコンピューターの仕事を選んだ理由は、コンピューターというものが自分の考えや伝えたいことを世に広めるために最も有能な媒体だったからなのです。どういうことかお判りですか？」という意味になります。

that節が多用されていてなかなか大変な文ですが、一つ一つ見ていきましょう。

So I don’t think (that) ～ で「ですから、私は～だとは思いません」です。
どう思わないのかというと、that節内で、
most of the really best people (that) I’ve worked with までが主語となって「私が共に働いた真に優秀な人々のほとんどが」です。
most of the really best people で「真に優秀な人々のほとんど」です。
(that) I’ve worked with で「（その人たちは）私が一緒に働いた」です。

have worked with computers for the sake of ～ で「～のためにコンピューター関連の仕事をした（と私は思わない）」です。
work with ～ で「～を取り扱う仕事をする」という意味になります。
例：work with children「子供たちを相手とした仕事をする」、work with the climate-related issues「気候関連の問題に取り組む」
何のためにかというと、
(for the sake of) working with computers. で「コンピューターを相手にするために」です。
つまり有能な技術者たちは、ただコンピューターに携わりたいという理由だけでマック開発に携わったわけではない、ということです。

そうではなく、
They’ve worked with computers because ～ で「彼らはコンピュータを取り扱う仕事をした、～だから」です。
その理由とは、
(because) they are the medium で「それらが媒体である（から）」です。
こちらの they は computers を指しています。
medium は「媒体、媒介、手段」といった意味の名詞です。
複数形は media となります。
どんな「媒体」かというと、
(that) is best capable of transmitting ～ で「～を伝えるのに最も有能な（媒体）」です。
be capable of ～ で「～ができる、～することに有能な」という意味の言い回しです。
何を伝えることが有能かというと、
(transmit) some feeling (that) you have で で「あなたが持つ感情・気持ちを（伝える）」です。
そしてもう一つ、
some feeling (that) you want to share with other people. で「「あなたが他の人と共有したいと思う（感情・気持ちを）」です。

Does that make any sense to you. で「どういうことかわかりますか？、言いたいことが伝わってますでしょうか？」という意味合いです。
make sense で「つじつまが合う、納得がいく、理解できる」という意味のイディオムです。
例：It’s starting to make sense.「だんだんわかってきた。」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

So I don’t think that
ですから～だとは思わないのです

most of the really best people
真に優秀な人達のほとんどが

that I’ve worked with
私がともに仕事をした（優秀な人達）

have worked with computers
コンピューターを扱う仕事をしてきた（訳ではないと思う）

for the sake of
～のために

working with computers.
（ただ）コンピューターを扱うこと（のために）

They’ve worked with computers
彼らがコンピューターに携わってきた（理由は）

because they are the medium
それらが～な手段であるから

that is best capable of
～に最も有能な（手段）

transmitting some feeling
気持ちを届けること

that you have
あなたが持つ（気持ちを）

that you want to share with other people.
あなたが他の人と共有したい（気持ちを）
