で「1776年の愛国者たちは、王による専制を、一部の特権、または暴民の政治に置き換えるために戦ったのではありません。彼らは私たちに共和制、人民の人民による人民のための政府を与えたのです。そして代々の世代に我々の建国の信条を守るように託したのです。」という意味になります。

The patriots of 1776 did not fight to ～ で「1776年の愛国者たちは、～のために戦ったのではない」です。
1776年はアメリカ独立宣言が出た年です。

なんのために戦ったわけじゃないのかというと、
to replace ～ with … で「～を…で置き換えるために」戦ったのではない、です。
the tyranny of a king で「王の専制」を、
the privileges of a few で「一部の人の特権」
or または、
the rule of a mob「暴民の支配」に、replace「置き換える」です。
mob は「暴民、民衆の群れ」という意味です。flash mob「フラッシュ・モブ」でおなじみですね。
rule of a mob は mobocracy モ[ボ]クラスィ「暴民政治、衆愚政治」とも言えます。

They gave to us ～ で「彼らは、私達に～を与えた」です。
give ～ to us の ～の部分が長いので、後ろにまわった形です。

a republic, a government of, and by, and for the people, 「共和制を、そして人民の、人民による、人民のための政府を」です。

entrusting ～ 以降は、分詞構文になっていて「そして～した」という意味になります。
entrust ～ to do … で「～に…することを託す（ゆだねる）」です。
each generation で「それぞれの世代に、各世代に」
to keep safe our founding creed. で「我々の建国の信条を守ることを（ゆだねた）」です。
keep ～ safe で「～を守る、～を保護する」という言い回しですが、ここでは safe が先に来て、keep safe ～ という形をとっています。
例：keep one’s family safe「家族を守る」
