this year’s Six Nations champions で「今年のシックス・ネイションズのチャンピオン」
そして、next year’s Rugby World Cup hosts で「来年のラグビーワールドカップのホスト国」です。

overwhelmed Japan で「日本を圧倒した」です。
overwhelm オウヴァー[ウェ]ゥムで「～を圧倒する、参らせる、制圧する」です。
with a performance of intensity and speed で「激しさとスピードのプレーで」
intensity は「激しさ、強烈さ」

en route to ～ で「～への途中で」
en route はフランス語由来で [ア]ーンルートゥと読みます。
their 13th consecutive test match victory で「彼らの13連続での国際試合の勝利」です。
ラグビー・クリケットでは test match は「国際試合」という意味になるそうです。

consecutive コン[セ]キュティヴで「連続の、立て続けの」

Damian Penaud scored two of France’s four tries で「ミアン・ピノーが２点をあげた、フランスの４つのトライのうち」です。
score は「得点などをあげる」です。
例：score 3 goals「３ゴールを決める」

as ～ で「～する中で、～しながらも」という意味の接続詞。
Les Bleus jumped into an early 11-0 lead で「レ・ブルが～に飛び乗った、早くの11-0のリードに」です。
Les Bleus はフランス代表チームの呼び名で「レ・ブル」です。
jump into ～ は「（急いで）～に飛びこむ」です。
and never looked back. で「そして、一切振り返らなかった」です。つまりリードしたまま突っ走ったということですね。

The first half ended with France leading 21-3. で「前半戦は終わった、フランスが21-3でリードして」です。
