but ～「しかし～」
the source of the gas leak is still unclear, で「そのガス漏れの発生源は未だに不明だ」です。
gas leak で「ガス漏れ」です。
leak は名詞では「漏洩、漏れ、流出」で、動詞では「（液体などが）漏れる」です。
police told the Press Trust of India news agency. で「～と、警察がプレストラストオブインディア通信社に語った。」

India’s National Disaster Response Force sealed off ～ で「インドの国営災害対応部隊は～を封鎖した」です。
seal off ～ で「～を封鎖する」です。
the densely populated area で「その人口が密集するエリアを」です。
densely デンスリーで「密度が濃く」という意味の副詞です。
形容詞形は dense デンスで「濃い」です。
例：dense fog「濃い霧」
and evacuated residents. で「そして、住民たちを避難させた」です。
evacuate イヴァキュエイトゥで「～を避難させる」です。
例：evacuation drill「避難訓練」
