Cooperation with China is needed given its global role and economic size, the group said, in appealing for working together on challenges such as climate change, biodiversity, debts and financing needs of vulnerable countries, global health concerns and economic stability.
で「G7によれば、中国の世界的な役割と経済規模を考えれば、中国との協力は必要である。各種の課題での協働を要請することにおいて。気候変動、生物多様性、危機的な国家の債務や資金ニーズ、世界的な健康の懸念、経済的安定性などだ。」という意味になります。

Cooperation with China が主語で「中国との協力（連携）」です。
cooperation コゥ・ア・ペ・[レ]イ・ションは co-operation とも書く通り co-（共に） operate「作業する」です。
corporation「法人、会社」と字面が似ていますが見分けるられるように気を付けましょう。
is needed で「～は必要とされる」です。
given its global role and economic size, で「その世界的役割と経済規模を考えれば」です。
この given は前置詞的に「～を考慮すれば、～を考えると」という意味の用法。
例：given the current climate「現在の情勢を考慮すれば」
its は China を指します。

the group said, で「G7は言った」です。
the group は記事で前述された the Group of Seven のことです。
the Group of Seven (industrialized nations) で「先進7か国」です。
日本、アメリカ、カナダ、フランス、イギリス、ドイツ、イタリアで構成されています。

in appealing for ～ で「～を要請することにおいて」です。
in ～ は cooperation とつながっていて、 cooperation in ～ で「～の点で協力する」です。
例：cooperation in human resources「人材面での協力」
appeal for ～ で「～を訴えて請う、～を要請する」です。
何を要請することかというと、
working together on challenges (such as ～) で「～のような課題について協力すること」です。
work together で「一緒に働く、協働する、協力する」です。
challenge は「挑戦」という意味もありますがここでは「課題、難しい仕事」という意味です。
どんな課題かというと、
～, ～, and ～ の列挙の形を使って５つ上げています。
climate change, で「気候変動」
biodiversity,「生物多様性」
debts and financing needs of vulnerable countries, で「危機的な国家の債務や資金ニーズ」
global health concerns で「世界的な健康上の懸念」
and ～「最後に」
economic stability. で「経済の安定」です。
global health concerns「世界的な健康上の懸念」は最近のコロナ・パンデミックの文脈でよく使われていた言い回しですね。
