I have come up with two answers. On this wonderful day when we are gathered together to celebrate your academic success, I have decided to talk to you about the benefits of failure. And as you stand on the threshold of what is sometimes called ‘real life’, I want to extol the crucial importance of imagination.

And as you stand on the threshold of what is sometimes called ‘real life’, I want to extol the crucial importance of imagination.
で「私はその答えを２つ思いつきました。みなさんの学業の成功を祝福するため集まったこの良き日に、私は、失敗の効用についてお話ししようと思い至りました。そしてまた、みなさんが『現実の生活』としばしば呼ばれるものの入口に立つ今、わたしは創造力というものがいかに重要かを称えつつお伝えしたい思います。」という意味になります。

I have come up with two answers. で「私は2つの答えを思いつきました。」です。
come up with ～ で「（アイデアなどを）～を思いつく、見つけ出す」です。
卒業スピーチに卒業生に何を伝えるべきか？　の答えですね。

On this wonderful day when ～ で「～する、この素晴らしい日に」
(when) we are gathered together to celebrate your academic success, で「私たちが一緒に集まった（この日に）、皆さんの学業の成功を祝福するために」です。
be gathered together で「（一緒に）集まる」です。
例：We’re all gathered together.「みんな集まった。」

I have decided to talk to you about ～ で「私はみなさんに～について話そうと決めました」
(about) the benefits of failure. で「失敗の効用（について）」
benefits で「有益性、効用、恩恵、利点」です。
例：benefits of city life「都市生活のいいところ」

And ～「そしてまた～」
２つの答えの２つめになります。
as you stand on the threshold of ～ で「みなさんが～の入り口に立っている状況の中で」です。
as ～ は「～しつつある中で、～する状況で」という意味の接続詞。
threshold ス[レ]シュホウゥドゥで「敷居、玄関、戸口、入口、出発点」です。
何の戸口（threshold）かというと、
(of) what is sometimes called ‘real life’, で「『現実の生活』としばしば呼ばれるもの」です。
what is called ～ は「（いわゆる）～と呼ばれるもの」という意味の表現です。
I want to extol ～ で「私は～の利点をお伝えしたい」です。
extol エクス[ト]ウォで「～を激賞する、褒めたてる」です。
the crucial importance of imagination. で「イマジネーション（創造力）の重要性」です。
crucial importance は「きわめて重要であること」
crucial は「不可欠な、命運を左右する、決定的な」という意味の形容詞。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
