Today, I found out that my ex tries to ruin my dates, and constantly asks our friend about me and why I don’t talk to her. She broke up with me over text because of the distance between us, after ghosting me for two weeks. We both knew that it would be a long-distance relationship due to her going to uni. FML
で「今日、私が新しい女性と交際するのを元カノが妨害しようとして、共通の友達に頻繁に私のことやら、何で彼女に連絡しないのかを聞いていることが分かった。元カノは遠距離が原因で２週間も連絡を絶った後、メッセージ上で私を振った。彼女が大学に行くせいで遠距離になることはお互いに分かっていたはずだ。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I found out that ～ で「～だとわかった」
(that) my ex tries to ruin my dates, で「私の元カノが私のデートを駄目にしようとしている（ことを）」です。
my ex はここでは my ex-girlfriend のことで「元彼女」です。
ruin は「～を台無しにする」です。
my dates は「私のデート」、つまり元カノと別れた後に他の「女性と付き合うこと」です。
and ～「そして～」
asks our friend about me「彼女は共通の友達に私について聞いている」です。
our friend なので私の元カノの共通の友達ということになります。
and「また～」
(asks) why I don’t talk to her. で「なぜ私が彼女に話しかけないのかを（聞いている）」です。
talk to ～ で「～と話す、話しかける」

She broke up with me で「彼女は私と別れた」
break up with ～ で「～と別れる」
over text で「テキスト上で」です。text は日本で言う「（LINEやSMSなどの）メッセージサービス」のこと。
over ～ は「（通信手段）～で、～上で、～越しに」を表します。
例：talk over the phone「電話で話す」
because of the distance between us, で「私たちの間の距離のために（別れた）」です。
, after ghosting me for two weeks. で「2週間も連絡を絶った後に」です。
ghost は「幽霊」という意味でおなじみですが、ここでは動詞で「（男女関係で説明もなく）～と連絡を絶つ、付き合いを突然やめて連絡を絶つ」という意味になります。

We both knew that ～ で「私たちは～だとどちらも承知していた」
(that) it would be a long-distance relationship で「遠距離恋愛になることを」
due to her going to uni. で「彼女が大学に行くことで」です。
due to ～ で「～のせいで」という意味です。
ここでは、動名詞 going to uni「大学に行くこと」が目的語となっていますが、意味上の主語 her が付加されている形です。
