で「ひとつには、多様さを加えるという意味で、自分の漫画のテンポとか舞台設定をガラッと変えたかったんです。ですから、ドクタースランプでは、その絵はとてもアメリカっぽくしたし、ドラゴンボールではできるだけ中国っぽくしたんです。」という意味になります。
