で「そして、これがもし事実なら、私は事実だと思いますが、問題は、じゃあどうする?　という事になります。もっと違うやり方でできるでしょうか？人間と創造的神秘性との関係について、もっと古代的な理解に立ち返る？　たぶん無理でしょう。」という意味になります。

And, if this is true, and I think it is true, で「もしこれが本当なら、そして、私はそれが本当だと思いますが、」です。

the question becomes, what now? で「問題は～になります、『さてどうしましょう？』に」です。
question は「質問、疑問、論点、核心、課題、問題」という意味です。
what now? は「さてどうしましょう？」という意味の言い回しです。

Can we do this differently? で「私たちはこれをできるでしょうか、違ったやり方で」です。
do ～ differently で「違うやり方で～をやる、やり方を変える」です。
this とは、単なる人間に創造の神秘の全責任を背負わせてしまうことですね。

Maybe ～, maybe not. で「～かも、いややっぱり違うかも」という意味の言い回しです。
例：Maybe it’s a great idea. Well, on second thought, maybe not.「もしかして名案かも、んーやっぱり駄目かな。」

go back to some more ancient understanding about ～ で「～に立ち返る（こと）、もうちょっと古代の理解に」です。
go back to ～ で「～に帰る、～に立ち返る、～に戻る」です。
ancient understanding とは「古代の理解」です。
ルネサンス以前の、古代ギリシャや古代ローマ時代の、創造性についての理解ですね。

(understanding about) the relationship 「関係に（ついての理解）」

(the relationship) between humans and the creative mystery. で「（関係についての）人間と創造の神秘の間の」です。
the creative mystery とは何度も出てきていますが、創造性の神秘、創造の不思議さです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
