Many Bangladeshis are calling it a second liberation で「多くのバングラディッシュ人たちはそれを a second liberation と呼んでいる」です。
call ～ … で「～を…と呼ぶ」です。
it は記事中でも前述されている今回の大規模デモのことです。
a second liberation は「第二の解放」です。
liberation レベレイションは「解放、釈放、自由化」という意味の名詞。
, half a century after independence. で「独立から半世紀後で」です。
half a century after ～ で「～から半世紀後」という意味になります。
after などの前置詞の前に期間を表す名詞を置く用法です。
例：a year after ～「～から一年後」、a century before ～「～の1世紀前」

The country’s prime minister, Sheik Hasina, で「同国の首相シェイク・ハシナ氏は」
was driven out of the country で「同国から追放された」です。
be driven out of ～ で「～から追い出される」という意味の言い回し。
driven は drive「～を追いやる」という意味の動詞の過去分詞形。
(the country) she has ruled で「彼女が統治してきた（その国）」です。
rule はここでは動詞で「～を統治する、支配する」です。
with an increasingly harsh grip で「ますます厳しくなるその支配力で」です。
ここでの grip は「握力」ではなくて「支配力、統制力、制御する力」です。
harsh は「手厳しい、過酷な」という意味の形容詞。
since 2009.「2009年以来」

She will be replaced by ～ で「彼女は～によって取って代わられることになる」です。
replace ～ で「～を取り換える、置き換える」です。
by a caretaker government, で「暫定政権によって（取って代わられる）」
caretaker は「介護者、世話人」という意味もありますが、ここでは「（土地や施設などの）管理人」という意味から、「一時的に管理を任された人、代理人」という意味合いです。
, backed by the army で「（その暫定政権は）陸軍によって後ろ盾を受けた」です。
backed by ～ で「～に支持された、後援された」です。
and ～「また～」
led by Muhammad Yunus, で「ムハマド・ユヌス氏によって率いられた」です。
led by ～ で「～に導かれた」です。led は lead の過去分詞形。
同格のカンマで繋げて、, a Nobel peace laureate.「（彼は）ノーベル平和賞受賞者」です。
laureate [ロ]リイトゥで「受賞者」です。
語源は laurel「月桂樹」で、昔は月桂樹で出来た冠を授けられたからだそうです。
