Today, Christmas is around the corner. I ordered my mom’s gift in August to avoid Christmas shopping madness and hid it so she wouldn’t find it. Now I can’t find it either. FML
で「今日、クリスマスが間近に迫っている。私は、クリスマスの買い物の狂騒を避けるために、８月にお母さんへのプレゼントを注文して、それをお母さんに見つからないように隠しておいた。今、私もそれを見つけられない。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

Christmas is around the corner で「クリスマスは目の前だ」となります。
around the corner は「目前だ、目の前まで迫っている」という意味の慣用句です。
角を曲がった所まで来ているというイメージですね。

I ordered my mom’s gift in August to avoid Christmas shopping madness で「私は母へのプレゼントを８月に注文した、クリスマスシッピングの狂騒を避けるため」です。
order one’s gift で「～へのプレゼントを注文する」となります。
avoid は「避ける」という意味の動詞です。
例：avoid a difficult task「厄介な仕事を避ける」
Christmas shopping madness で「クリスマス’目前の）ショッピングの狂騒」ですね。

hid it so she wouldn’t find it. で「それを隠した、彼女が発見しないように」です。
hid it で「それを隠した」です。
hid は hide ハイドゥ「隠す」の過去・過去分詞形です。
so ～ は「～するように、～になるように」という意味の接続詞ですね。

Now I can’t find it either で「今、私もそれを見つけられない」となります。
どこに隠したかわからなくなってしまったわけですね。
either イーザーは、このように、否定文で「～も～しない」という意味になります。
too と同じような意味ですが、否定文で使われます。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

クリスマスが目前だ

I ordered my mom’s gift in August
私は８月に母へのプレゼントを注文しておいた

to avoid Christmas shopping madness
