で「それは国技です。私たちは天気について、スポーツについて、政治について、すべてについて不平を言います。でも実際は、不平は不幸をまき散らすだけです。それは世界に温かさや明るさを広めてはくれません。」という意味になります。

前回に続いて「話者の7つの大罪」をリストアップしていきます。
第三の「ネガティブさ」の続きです。

不平 complaining について前回からの続き。
national art で「お国芸」でしたが、今回は national sport で「国技」です。

We complain about the weather, sport, about politics, about everything で「私たちは天気、スポーツ、政治、その他すべてについて不平を言います」となります。
complain about ～ で「～について不平を言う」という言い回しです。
politics は政治です。通例で複数形で使います。

but actually, complaining is viral misery. で「でも実際には不平は不幸のまき散らしだ」です。
but actually は「でも実際は」という意味の言い回しです。
これも逆説でよくつかわれる言い回しですね。
viral misery は直訳すると「伝染性の不幸」です。
viral は「口コミで広がる、ウイルスのように広がる」という意味の形容詞です。
例：viral marketing「口コミマーケティング」
misery ミザリーは「不幸、悲惨さ」という意味の名詞です。
例：Misery loves company.「不幸は仲間を欲しがる」、misery of the war「戦争の悲惨さ」

It’s not spreading sunshine and lightness in the world で「それは陽かさや明るさを広げていない」です。
sunshine は「太陽の光」です。
lightness は「明るさ、陽気さ」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

それは私たちの国技です
