で「仕事の定年間際に、ナカハラさんはうつ病と診断された。そして2012年に退職した時、彼は自分の身の振り方が分からなかった。無気力で家から出ることもますます難しくなってきた。」という意味になります。

ナカハラさんが、おっさんレンタルに加盟するまでの経緯を説明した文です。

Toward the end of his career で「彼の職歴の最後のころに」という意味です。
toward は「～に向かって」という意味です。
Toward the end of ～ で「～の終わり頃に」という意味の言い回しです。
career は「仕事のキャリア、仕事の経歴、職歴」という意味です。

Nakahara was diagnosed with depression で「ナカハラさんはうつ病と診断された」です。
be diagnosed with ～ で「～と診断される」です。
diagnose は「診断する」という意味の動詞です。
名詞形は、diagnosis ダイアグ[ノ]ウシス「診断」です。
ちなみに、prognosis で「予後」という意味になります。
depression で「うつ病」という意味です。
例：remission of depression「うつ病寛解、うつ病の緩和」
動詞形、depress は「落ち込ませる、押し下げる」という意味です。

he didn’t know what to do with himself で「彼は分からなかった、自分で何をするか」です。
what to do with oneself で「何をするか、身の振り方、どうしていいか」という意味の言い回しです。

He felt lethargic and found it increasingly difficult to get out of the house. で「彼は無気力感を感じ、家から出ることが次第に困難になっていった」です。
feel lethargic で「無気力になる、やる気が起きない」という意味言い回しです。
lethargic は「無気力な、嗜眠状態の、不活発な」という意味の形容詞です。
例：lethargic-looking「気だるい顔つき」

found it increasingly difficult to ～ で「～することが次第に難しく感じた」です。
この場合の find は「～だと感じる、～だと思う」という意味です。
例：find it hard to understand「理解しがたいと思う」
increasingly は increase「増加する」の副詞形で、「ますます、次第に」という意味です。
get out of the house で「家から出る、外出する」です。
get out of ～ で「～から出る」という意味の言い回しです。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
