Today, I had to go to the local UPS store to sign for a package with providing I.D. shipped to me. I had no idea who had sent the package. After signing for the package, I opened it and saw that I had signed for an empty package. I actually paid for nothing. FML
で「今日、地元のUPSの店舗に私宛のIDが付された荷物の受取りサインをしに行かなければならなかった。その荷物を誰が送ったのか見当がつかなかった。サインした後、それを開けてみた。私が受取りサインをしたのは空っぽの荷物だといことが分かった。空っぽの荷物の配送料を払ってしまった。。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I had to go to the local UPS store で「地元のUPS店舗に行かなければならなかった」です。
UPSは、日本で言うクロネコヤマトや佐川急便のような配送業者です。
United Parcel Service, Inc,の略です。

to sign for a package with providing I.D. shipped to me. で「私宛の宛名が付されたパッケージの受取りに」です。
sign for ～ で「～にサインする、署名する」です。
この場合は、荷物の受取りサインをすると言う意味です。
package with providing I.D. shipped to me で「私宛のIDが付されたパッケージ」です。
ID は「身分証明書」と言う意味ですが、この場合は、荷物のIDですね。
ship は「船」でおなじみですが、この場合は動詞で「～を出荷する、発送する」と言う意味になります。
shipped to me なので「私に発送された（荷物）」となります。
オンラインショッピングなどでおなじみの言葉です。
例：shipping address「配送先、送付先住所」

I had no idea who had sent the package. で「私は全く分からない、誰がその荷物を送ったのか」です。
have no idea ～ で「～が分からない」と言う意味の言い回しですね。
who had sent the package. で「誰がその荷物を送ったのか」です。

After signing for the package, I opened it and ～ で「受取りサインをした後、それを開けてみると～」です。

I saw that I had signed for an empty package. で「空っぽの荷物に受取りサインをしてしまったことが分かった」です。
I see that ～ で「～ということに気づく、～だということが分かる」と言う意味の言い回しです。
see には「見る、会う」と言う意味以外にも「分かる、理解する」と言う意味もあります。
例：I see.「そうか。なるほど。分かりました。」

I actually paid for nothing. で「私は実に無にお金を払った」です。
空っぽの荷物に着払いの送料を支払ってしまったと言うことですね。
actually [ア]クチュァリは「実際に、ほんとうに、実は、実に」などという意味で、話し言葉でもよく使われる副詞ですね。
例：I couldn’t do anything actually.「私は実際のところ何もできなかった。」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

地元のUPS店舗に行かなければならなかった

to sign for a package
荷物の受取りサインを氏に

私宛のIDがついた（荷物の）

I had no idea
全く分からなかった
