So let me give you a famous example, a famous failure and a famous success of the law of diffusion of innovation. First, the famous failure. It’s a commercial example.
で「では有名な例をお見せしましょう。イノベーションの普及の法則に関する有名な失敗と有名な成功の例です。まず最初は、有名な失敗例です。これは民営企業の例です。」という意味になります。

So let me give you a famous example で「では、有名な例をお見せしましょう」という意味になります。
let me give you ～ で直訳すると「あなたに～をあげさせてください」ですが、
慣用句で「～をお見せしましょう、～をあげましょう」という意味になります。
例：Let me give you a clue.「ヒントをあげましょう」、Let me give you a hand.「ぜひ手伝わせてください、手を貸しましょう」

a famous failure and a famous success of the law of diffusion of innovation で「イノベーション普及の法則の有名な失敗と成功」です。
the law of diffusion of innovation は「イノベーションの普及の法則」でしたね。
社会学者のエヴェリット・ロジャースが1962年の書籍『Diffusion of Innovation』で提唱した学説です。
diffusion は「拡散、発散、普及」という意味の名詞（noun）です。
動詞形は diffuse ディフューズ「（光や熱などが）拡散する、放散される」です。
散り散りに広がっていくイメージです。

First, the famous failure. で「まず一つ目は、有名な失敗例です。」です。
failure フェイリャーは「失敗、不成功」という意味の名詞（noun）です。
動詞形は fail フェイォ「失敗する」です。
First, ～ は、「第一に、まず一つ目に」という意味の言い回しです。
いくつかの事例をあげたいときに使う言い回しです。
First, ～
Second, ～
と続きます。
他の言い方では、
In the first place, ～
First of all,
などがあります。

It’s a commercial example. で「それは商業の例です」です。
commercial は「商業の、営利の」という意味の形容詞です。
この場合は「ある商品に関する例」という意味合いになります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
