地球から3億km離れた小惑星「リュウグウ」への着陸成功のニュースです。
着陸は一瞬で、すぐに飛び立って周回軌道に戻ったということです。

Data from the probe, Hayabusa2, までが主語で「その宇宙探査機（ハヤブサ２）からのデータ」です。
probe プロウブはこの場合「宇宙探査機」という意味になります。
他にも「探査、調査」という意味や、動詞では「～を探る、綿密に調査する」という意味があります。
例：probe computer network「コンピューターネットワークを調査する」、Mars probe「火星探査機」

showed changes in speed and direction で「スピードと向きの変化を示した」です。
show は「～を表す、示す、見せる」です。
change in ～ で「～の変化」です。
例：change in amplitude「振幅の変化」

indicating (that) ～ は分詞構文で「～ということを示して」です。
indicate は「指し示す、意味する」という意味の動詞です。

何を意味しているかというと、
it had touched down on the asteroid で「それがその小惑星に着陸した（こと）」です。
it は Hayabusa2 のことです。
touch down on ～ で「～に着陸する」です。
the asteroid は Ryugu のことです。
asteroid は「小惑星」という意味です。
ちなみに「隕石」meteor ミーティァ
「惑星」は planet 、「衛星」は satellite です。

and was blasting back to its orbiting position, で「そして（それは）自分の周回軌道上の位置に爆風で戻っていった」です。
blast は「爆風をだす、爆発する、爆破する」という意味の動詞です。
blast back なので「爆発して戻る」となります。
映像を見ると分かりますが、着陸した直後、すぐに爆風を出して上昇していますね。
orbiting position は「周回軌道の定位置」です。
orbit オービットゥは「（天体などの）軌道」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
