で「木曜日、日本のハヤブサ2宇宙探査機が、遠く離れた小惑星に”完璧な”タッチダウンを成し遂げ、太陽系の起源の謎に光を当てるかもしれない前例のないミッションで、地表の下からサンプルを採取した。」という意味になります。

Japan’s Hayabusa2 probe made a “perfect” touchdown で「日本のハヤブサ２宇宙探査機が完璧なタッチダウンをした」です。
probe は「宇宙探査機、探査機」という意味の名詞です。
動詞では「～をさぐる」という意味でも使われます。
今回は Hayabusa2 probe とあるので「ハヤブサ2探査機」と分かりますね。
make a touchdown で「タッチダウンをする」です。
touchdown とはこの場合は小惑星の表面に「一瞬接触すること」らしいです。
(touchdown) on a distant asteroid で「遠く離れた小惑星に（タッチダウン）」です。
distant は「遠く離れた」という意味の形容詞です。
名詞形は distance ディスタンス「距離、隔たり」ですね。
例：distant sound「遠くから聞こえる音」
asteroid は「小惑星」ですね。
では「惑星」「衛星」「隕石」はなんと言ったでしょうか？
答えは一番下の「今日のつぶやき」で

collecting samples from beneath the surface で「（そしてまた）地表の下からサンプルを採集した」となります。
～ing の形で文を繋げる「分詞構文」の形ですね。
from beneath ～ で「～の下から」という意味の言い回しです。
beneath ビニースは「～の下に」という意味の前置詞・副詞です。
例：Beneath the Wheel「車輪の下」
the surface で「その表面」です。この場合は小惑星の表面のことですね。

in an unprecedented mission that ～ で「～な前例のないミッションで」です。
unprecedented で「前例のない」という意味の形容詞です。
アン・プ[レ]・スィ・デン・ティドゥと発音します。
語幹の precede プリスィードゥは「～に先行する、～に先んじる」という意味の動詞です。
mission はもともと「宣教師が海を越えて布教すること」を意味しますが、現在は「（ある目的のための）使命、作戦」という意味になります。

どんなミッションなのかというと、
mission (that) could shed light on the origins of the solar system. で「光を当てるかもしれない、太陽系の起源に」です。
shed light on ～ で「～に光を当てる、～の謎を明らかにする」という意味の言い回しです。
shed は shed a tear「涙をこぼす」という言い回しでおなじみの通り「こぼす、落とす」という意味の動詞です。
元の意味は「分かれる」で、そこから「分かれて落ちる、はがれて落ちる」という意味になります。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
