people who believed what he believed までが主語です。
「キング師の信じることを信じた人たち」です。

took his cause で「キング師の理念を支持した」です。
cause は「原因」という意味でおなじみですがこの場合は「理念、大義、動機、目的」という意味になります。
例：cause of freedom「自由という大義」

and they made it their own で「そして彼らはそれを自分自身のものにした」です。
make ～ … で「～を…にする」です。
it とはキング牧師の理念です。

And some of those people created structures to get the word out to even more people. で「そしてそのようの人の中にはさらに多くの人にその言葉が広まるような仕組みを作る者もいた。」です。
some of those people で「そのような人々の中には～もいる」です。
created structures で「仕組みを作る」です。
どんな仕組みかというと
to get the word out to even more people で「さらに多くの人にその言葉が広まるように」です。
get ～ out to … で「…に～が知れる、広める」です。
例：get out to the public「公になる」、get a message out to as many people as possible「できるだけ多くの人にメッセージを伝える」

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
