プロポーズの結末。

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. She said yes, but the ring turned out to be quite tight on her finger. She then chewed me out, saying that I can’t do anything right, then changed her answer to no. FML

Today, I proposed to my girlfriend. She said yes, but the ring turned out to be quite tight on her finger. She then chewed me out, saying that I can’t do anything right, then changed her answer to no. FML
で「今日、彼女にプロポーズした。返事はOKだったが、指輪が彼女の指にはかなりきついことが分かった。彼女は、何一つまともにできやしないと私をこっぴどく叱りつけて、プロポーズの返答をNOに変更した。F*ck my life!」という意味になります。

I proposed to my girlfriend. She said yes, but ～ で「私は彼女にプロポーズをした、彼女はイエスと言った、しかし～」です。
propose to ～ で「～にプロポーズする、～に結婚を申し込む」です。

(but) the ring turned out to be quite tight on her finger. で「（しかし）その指輪が～であることが分かった、かなりきついことが、彼女の指には」です。
turn out to be ～ で「（結果として）～であることが判明する」という意味の言い回しです。
例：turn out to be wrong「間違っていると判明する」
tight on ～ で「～にはきつい、～には窮屈だ」です。

She then chewed me out, で「彼女はその後私をガミガミ叱りつけた」です。
chew out で「～をガミガミ叱る」という意味の句動詞です。
chew は「噛む」という意味ですが、この場合は「ガミガミ言う」という意味です。
out は「最後まで、徹底的に」という意味合いがあります。

saying that I can’t do anything right, で「～と言って、私が何一つまともにできないと」です。
can’t do anything right で「何もできない、正しく」ですね。

then changed her answer to no. で「そして、彼女の答えを no に変えた」です。
プロポーズの答えをひっくり返したという事ですね。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
