And then there were these times — this is the piece I never forgot — she said that there were moments where she would almost miss it, right? So, she’s running to the house and she’s looking for the paper and the poem passes through her, and she grabs a pencil just as it’s going through her, and then she said, it was like she would reach out with her other hand and she would catch it.

And then there were these times
these times の後には、後から出てくる、(these times) where ~ がつながっていきます。

— this is the piece I never forgot — で「これは私が決して忘れなった傑作(な話)」です。

there were moments where ~ で「~な時があった」です。
先ほどの、there were these times の言い換えになっています。
We live in an age where ~.「我々は~な時代に生きている」

(where) she would almost miss it, right?

So, she’s running to the house and she’s looking for the paper

and the poem passes through her,
and she grabs a pencil just as it’s going through her,

and then she said, it was like ~ で「そして彼女は言った、それは~のようだったと」です。

she would reach out with her other hand
reach out (for the poem)

and she would catch it.
