で「WHOは伝染病をモニタリングする資金は得ているが、私が話したようなことをするための資金は持っていません。まあ、映画でなら話は違います。美形の疫学者たちがいて、現地に入り、窮地を救います。しかし、それは全くの映画の世界の話です。」という意味になります。

The WHO is funded to monitor epidemics, で「WHOはエピデミックを監視する資金を得ている」です。
WHO は World Health Organization の略で「世界保健機構」ですね。
fund で「資金を供給する」という意味の動詞です。
be funded to ～ で「～するための資金を得る」となります。
WHO は国連機関なので、加盟する世界各国や慈善団体から資金の提供を受けて活動します。
ビル・ゲイツが設立した慈善団体ビル&メリンダ・ゲイツ財団も多額の拠出をしているようです。

but not to do these things I talked about. で「しかし、私が話したこれらのことをするためのではない」です。
(funded) not to do ～ と繋がり、「～をするための資金提供は受けていない」となります。

Now, in the movies it’s quite different. 「まあ、映画の中でなら、話は全く違う」です。

There’s a group of handsome epidemiologists ready to go, で「美形の疫学者のグループが準備万端でいて」です。
epidemiologist で「疫学者」です。伝染病蔓延の分野の専門家です。
epidemiology エピディミ[ア]ラジー「疫学、伝染病学」

they move in, they save the day, で「彼らは仕事に就き、窮地を救う」です。
move in は「仕事に就く、配置につく、仕事の現場に入る」です。
save the day は「窮地を救う、土壇場で勝利をもたらす」という意味のイディオムです。
例：You saved the day.「おかげで助かりました。」

but that’s just pure Hollywood. で「だが、それは全くの映画の世界の話だ」です。
