TED-Edより「What are those floaty things in your eye?（目の中に浮かんでいるものはなんだろう？）」です。

The windows are actually caused by white blood cells moving through the capillaries along your retina’s surface. These leukocytes can be so large that they nearly fill a capillary causing a plasma space to open up in front of them.

The windows are actually caused by white blood cells moving through the capillaries along your retina’s surface. These leukocytes can be so large that they nearly fill a capillary causing a plasma space to open up in front of them.
で「実はその窓は、網膜の表面に走る毛細血管の中を移動する白血球によって作られます。これらの白血球が毛細血管を満たすくらい大きいと、その白血球の前に血漿液だけのスペースができます。」という意味になります。

The windows are actually caused by ～ で「その窓は、実際は、～によって引き起こされる」です。
the windows とは前回説明された、視界に現れる tiny dots of light「小さな光の点」のことです。
cause ～ は「～を引き起こす、～をもたらす」という意味のどうしです。
be caused by ～ で「～によって引き起こされる、～が原因である」という意味です。

何が原因かというと、
(by) white blood cells で「白血球（によって引き起こされている）」です。
white blood cell で「白血球」です。
後で出てくる leukocyte [ル]コゥサイトゥという学術的な言い方も押さえておきましょう。
blood ブラドゥで「血、血液」、cell は「細胞」です。
対して「赤血球」は、red blood cell もしくは erythrocyte イ[リ]トロサイトゥとなります。
(white blood cells) moving through the capillaries で「毛細血管の中を移動する（白血球）」です。
capillary [キャ]ピラリィで「毛細血管」です。
例：capillaries in the skin「皮膚の毛細血管」
語源はラテン語 capillaris（hair）から来ています。
(capillaries) along your retina’s surface. で「人の網膜の表面に走る（毛細血管）」です。
along ～ で「～に沿って」という意味の前置詞です。

These leukocytes can be so large で「これらの白血球は～ほども大きい場合がある、」です。
この can は「～できる」ではなく「～になることもある、～する可能性がある」という意味です。

so large that they nearly fill a capillary で「とても大きいので毛細血管を満たす」です。
so ～ that … の構文になって「とても大きいので～する」です。
nearly を生かすように訳せば「毛細血管をほぼ満たしてしまうくらいに大きい（場合もある）」です。
つまり毛細血管を詰まらせてしまうくらいに大きいということですね。

causing a plasma space to open up で「（そのことは）血漿の空間がひらかれる原因となる」です。
causing ～ と分詞構文です。カンマがないタイプです。
cause ～ to do … で「～が…する原因となる」です。
a plasma space が目的語で「血漿の空間、血漿のスペース」です。
つまり毛細血管の中に、赤血球がなく血漿液しかない透明な部分を作り出すということです。
open up は自動詞で「（空間などが）空く、開かれる」です。
例：A seat opened up.「席が一つ空きました。」
in front of them. で「それらの前に」です。
them は white blood cells を指します。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

それらの窓は実は

caused by white blood cells
白血球が原因となっている

moving through the capillaries
毛細血管内を移動する

along your retina’s surface.
網膜の表面に走る（毛細血管）

These leukocytes can be so large
