Character is just another word for having a perfectly disciplined and educated will. A person can make his own character by blending these elements with an intense desire to achieve excellence. Everyone is different in what I will call magnitude, but the capacity to achieve character is still the same.

Character is just another word for having a perfectly disciplined and educated will. A person can make his own character by blending these elements with an intense desire to achieve excellence. Everyone is different in what I will call magnitude, but the capacity to achieve character is still the same.
で「人格というものは、完全に統制され教育された意思を持っていることと同義である。自分自身の人格を作り上げられるのは、これらの要素と、卓越した成果を挙げたいという強烈な熱意を混ぜ合わせることによってである。私が言うところの”大きさ”という点においては違いがあるが、人格を獲得するという能力はみんな同等である。」という意味になります。

Character is just another word for ～ で「品性とは～を言い替えたものである」という意味です。
character は「キャラクター、登場人物、性格」という意味もありますがここでは「品性、人格」という意味です。
例：have no character「品性がない」、a person of character「人格者」
another word for ～ で「～と言い替えられる、～の同義語である」という意味のイディオムです。
何と同義語かというと、
having a perfectly disciplined and educated will で「完全にしつけられて教育された意思を持っていること」です。
a perfectly disciplined and educated will が一つながりの名詞句になっています。
discipline は動詞では「～をしつける、自制心を持たせる」です。
disciplined で「自己管理がしっかりした、規律のある、しっかりした」という意味の形容詞になっています。

A person can make his own character by ～ing で「人は、自分の品性を作ることができる、～することによって」です。
何をすることによってかというと、
(by) blending these elements with ～ で「これらの要素と～を混ぜ合わせる（ことによって）」です。
blend ～ with … で「～を…とブレンドする、混ぜる」です。
these elements とは disciplined, educated のことを指しています。
それを何を混ぜ合わせるかというと、
(with) an intense desire to で「強烈な願望、～したいという」です。
intense desire で「強烈な願望」です。
どんな願望かというと、
to achieve excellence. で「卓越した結果を達成し（たいという願望）」です。
achieve excellence で「卓越した成果を挙げる、ずば抜けた結果を出す、（学科で）優を取る」です。

Everyone is different in ～ で「みんな～の点で異なっている」です。
(in) what I will call magnitude で「私が呼ぶところの大きさというもの（の点で）」です。
what I will call ～ は「私が～と呼ぶところの」という意味のちょっともったいぶった言い回しです。
magnitude は「大きさ、規模」です。地震のマグニチュードでおなじみですね。

but the capacity to achieve character is still the same. で「でも品性を獲得する能力は、同じである」です。
the capacity to do ～ で「～する能力」です。
(to) achieve character で「品性を獲得する」です。
achieve アチーヴは「（努力して）～を達成する、獲得する、勝ち取る」という意味の動詞です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
