オーストラリア出身の物理学者であるエルヴィン・シュレーディンガーの言葉です。

The world is given to me only once, not one existing and one perceived. Subject and object are only one. The barrier between them cannot be said to have broken down as a result of recent experience in the physical sciences, for this barrier does not exist.

で「私にとって世界とは、存在する世界と認知される世界（に別れているもの）ではなくそれらは一体である。主体と客体は一体なのだ。それらの間の境界が、近年の物理化学の経験の結果として崩壊したとは言い難い。なぜならこの境界はそもそも存在していないからだ。」という意味になります。

The world is given to me only once, で直訳すると「世界は私に与えられる、たった一度」です。
is given to me は「私に与えられる」で、つまり「私にとっては（～な風な）ものである」という意味になります。
only once は「たった一度」です。
not one existing and one perceived. が「存在する世界と、認知される世界、ではなく」です。
one は the world を意味している代名詞です。
非常に哲学的ですが、つまり世界というものは、存在（実在）と認知と、別々に与えられるものではなく、一緒くたなって来るものだ、ということですね。

Subject and object are only one. で「主体と客体は一体である。」です。
subject が「主体」、object は「客体」です。
subject には「題材、対象物、被写体」などという意味もありますとおり「物そのもの」です。
対して object は「人が見た物」つまり「客観的に見た物」です。
ですので先ほどの existing が subject に、perceived が object に当たることがわかります。

The barrier between them で「それらの間の境界」です。
them は one existing「存在している世界」と、one perceived「認知される世界」、または subject と objectですね。
cannot be said to have broken down で「崩壊したとは言い難い」です。
cannot be said で「～とは言い難い」という意味のコロケーションです。
to have broken down で「崩壊したとは（言い難い）」です。
as a result of ～「～の結果として」
recent experience in the physical sciences, で「近年の物理化学の経験（の結果として）」です。
experience は「経験」ですが、ここでは「（経験で獲得した）知識、技能」という意味合いです。

for this barrier does not exist. で「なぜなら、この境界は存在しないから」です。
for は「というのも～、なぜなら～」という意味の等位接続詞です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。

世界は私にとっては一体である
