The Icelandic Meteorological Office (IMO) also put out a new warning Saturday after issuing several advisories this week asking people to avoid the area due to the dangerously high levels of volcanic gases, especially sulfur dioxide which can cause inflammation and irritation of the respiratory system when inhaled at high levels.
で「アイスランド気象庁はまた、今週いくつかの注意報を出した後に新たな警報を土曜日に発した。人々にその地域を避けるようにという警報を。危険な高レベルの火山性ガス、特に高レベルで吸い込まれたとき呼吸器系に炎症を引き起こす可能性のある二酸化硫黄のため。」という意味になります。

The Icelandic Meteorological Office (IMO) で「アイスランド気象庁」です。
Iceland が国名で、Icelandic がその形容詞です。Japan と Japanese の関係と同じですね。
meteorological ミティォロ[ロ]ジカォで「気象の」という意味の形容詞です。
例：meteorological forecasting「気象予報」
also「また～、同様に」
put out a new warning で「新たな警報を出した」です。put out ～ で「～を出す」です。
後に出てくる issue ～ で言い換え可能です。
Saturday で「土曜日に」です。日時関係では前置詞を省略できます。(on) Saturday
after issuing several advisories で「いくつかの注意報を出した後で」です。
issue an advisory で「注意報を出す、勧告を出す」です。
先ほどの warning「警報」のほうが強い意味で、advisory「注意報、勧告」のほうが少し穏やかな意味合いになります。
this week で「今週に」です。

asking ～ 以降は、分詞構文として「～しながら、～しつつ」という意味でも、
a new warning を後ろから修飾する現在分詞「（～する）新しい警報」としても考えられます。
ask people to avoid ～ なので「人々に～を避けるように頼む」です。
avoid the area で「そのエリアを、その地域を」です。
the area は記事中で前述されている火山の近くを指しています。

due to the dangerously high levels of ～ で「危険なほどの高レベルの～のせいで」です。
due to ～ は「～のせいで、～のために、～が原因で」です。
high levels of volcanic gases, で「高レベルの火山性ガス」です。
数種類のガスが出ているので、gases と複数形を取っています。
especially sulfur dioxide で「特に二酸化硫黄」です。
which can cause inflammation and irritation で「（その二酸化硫黄は）炎症を引き起こす可能性がある」です。
inflammation も irritation も日本語にすると「炎症」ですが、
inflammation のほうが病的な意味合いが強く、irritation のほうが比較的軽い皮膚の「ヒリヒリする感じ」といった意味合いです。
of the respiratory system で「呼吸器系の（炎症）」です。
when inhaled at high levels. で「高レベルで吸い込まれた時に」です。
inhale インヘイォで「（息を肺まで）吸い込む」です。対義語は exhale エクスヘイォで「息を吐き出す」です。
