Nagayama, 34, pleaded guilty で「永山氏（34歳）は、罪を認めた」です。
plead プリードゥは「（裁判で）～を主張する、～を申し立てる」という意味の動詞。
plead guilty で「罪を認める、有罪を申し立てる」です。
反対は、plead one’s innocence「無罪を主張する」です。
during the first hearing で「初公判の期間中に」
hearing は「公聴会、聴聞会、公判」という意味の名詞です。
earlier this week で「今週これまでに」です。
at the Tokyo District Court で「東京地裁で」

Prosecutors sought a prison term of six months で「検察側は、～を求刑した、６か月の刑期を」です。
prosecutor は「検察、検事、訴追者」です。「起訴する人」という意味になります。
動詞形は prosecute プロセキュートゥで「起訴する、訴追する」
sought は seek「～を求める」の過去形でここでは「～を求刑する」という意味なっています。
prison term は「刑期」です。
例：an indefinite prison term「無期懲役」

He was found in possession of ～ で「彼は～を所持しているところを見つかった」です。
in possession of ～ は「～を所持して」という意味のコロケーション。
例：player in possession of the ball「ボールを保持している選手」
possession ポ[ゼ]ションで「所持、もっていること」という意味の名詞です。
動詞形は possess ポ[ゼ]スで「～を所持する、～を有する」です。
何を所持していたかというと、
1.694 grams of cannabis で「1.694グラムの大麻を」
cannabis キャナビスは「大麻」です。
他にも marijuana, weed, joint, grass, dope など多くの言い方があります。

according to the ruling. で「判決文によると」です。
the ruling は「（今回の裁判の）判決」を意味します。
ruling で「（裁判での）判決、裁定、決定」という意味があります。
court ruling などとも言います。
