And ～「そして～」
if America is to be a great nation, で「アメリカが偉大な国であるためには」です。
if ～ is to do … で「～が…するためには」という意味の言い回しです。
例：If humanity is to maintain hope for the future, ～「人類が未来に希望をつなぐためには～」

prodigious プロ[ディ]ジャスは「驚異的な、並外れた、膨大な、素晴らしい」です。
以下、形容詞＋山＋州名という組み合わせで、繰り返しとなります。

the mighty mountains of New York. で「ニューヨーク州の力強い山脈から」
mighty は「強力な」という意味以外にも「（大きさや広がりが）巨大な、壮大な」という意味もあります。
例：mighty building「そびえ立つ建物」

from the heightening Alleghenies of Pennsylvania. で「ペンシルバニア州のアレゲーニー山脈の高みから」
heightening は「高まる」です。動詞形は heighten ハイトンで「～を高くする、高くなる」

from the snow-capped Rockies of Colorado. で「コロラド州の雪を頂いたロッキー山脈から」
snow-capped で「雪を冠った」です。cap は「帽子をかぶる、頂上を覆う」です。

Let freedom ring from ～「～から自由の鐘を響かせよう」
from the curvaceous slopes of California. で「カリフォルニア州の曲線の美しい傾斜地から」
curvaceous カー[ヴェ]イシャスは「女性の体の曲線が魅力的な、曲線美の、美しく曲がりくねった」です。

それではまず文節に分けて日本語に訳し内容を理解して下さい。
