Turmeric has long been prized for ～ で「ターメリック（ウコン）は長く～のことで珍重されてきた」です。
Turmeric は日本では「ウコン」ですね。スパイスとしても用いられます。
have long been ～ で「長く～されてきた」という意味のコロケーション。
prize は「～を重んじる、尊重する、大切にする」という意味の動詞。
for its anti-inflammatory properties で「その抗炎症作用で（珍重されてきた）」です。
in Ayurvedic medicine で「アーユルベーダ医学においては」です。
アーユルベーダ医学とはインドの伝統医学です。
inflammatory は「炎症の」という意味の形容詞。anti- アーンティ（アンタイ）で「反対の」です。
properties で「性質、特性」という意味の名詞です。
例：antibiotic properties「抗菌性、抗菌作用」

and in Asian cuisines で「そしてアジア料理では」
(prized) for its earthy flavour and vibrant hue. で「その素朴な風味と鮮やかな色合いで（珍重されてきた）」です。
hue ヒューで「色合い、色相、色彩」です。

But ～「しかし～」
for the millions of South Asians「何百万の南アジア人にとって」
who habitually consume it, で「それを日常的に食している（南アジア人）」です。
habitually ハ[ビ]チュアリで「習慣的に、日常的に」
its skin-staining yellowness で「その肌を染めるような黄色は」です。
can be deceptive and deadly. で「詐欺的で、命取りにもなりうる」です。
deceptive ディ[セ]プティヴで「だますような、虚偽の、詐欺的な」という意味の形容詞です。
動詞形は deceive ディ[スィ]ーヴで「～をだます」です。
記事を読むと、ターメリックの黄色は、一部で着色料が使われており、その原料が神経毒のクロム酸鉛（lead chromate）だということです。
